Fat burning
exercises
There are several reasons
to avoid obesity but none more important than the
following two; it is ugly and unhealthy. Obesity is one of
the leading causes of age related diseases. People who are
overweight are typically more prone to heart related and
metabolic disorders. Being overweight can also affect a
person's balance, increase a man's risk of impotency, and
puts the body under far too much pressure. It is because
of these factors that many people today adopt different
methods in burning of fat. The best of these are
maintaining a healthy diet and exercising
regularly.
Adopting a healthy diet is always
an important step amongst people who are overweight. However,
although a healthy diet will keep you from gaining additional
weight, the process to losing weight will be a lot slower
without the addition of exercises. With the inclusion of the
right exercise routines, the journey to slimness will be a lot
faster.

Fat burning exercises allow
people to burn fat more efficiently. During most exercise
routines, the heart is made to work to work at a much faster
rate. This in turn causes the body to burn more calories during
the period. The following are a few effective fat burning
exercises.
Aerobic
exercise: Brisk aerobic routines such as running or
walking are great ways of burning of surplus body fat. People
who jog two or three times a week are able to burn of as much
as 3,000 calories from this exercise alone. Because of the high
intensity of this type of exercise, the body is forced to rely
on its stored deposits of fuel.
Other cardio routines such as
walking are also great ways of burning fat. Although they do
not consume as much calories as high intensity activities,
these exercises are a lot gentler on the body. However, it is
important that people remain properly hydrated during these
routines. As well as these fat burning exercises, people can
also improve the rate at which their body burns by engaging in
extra daily activities. Daily chores such as cleaning out the
apartment, tending the garden or walking the dog are also
effective ways of burning fat.
Resistance training
exercises: Resistance training exercises are
distinctly different from aerobic routines. These exercises are
aimed at building the muscle tone and content of an individual.
Although calories are expended during these workout routines,
the body does not burn as much fat cells as it does during
cardio routines. This however does not mean that resistance
exercises are not effective. There are several advantages of
adopting resistance training routines.
Muscles are great burners of fat.
This is because muscles are fueled by calories. A person with
increased muscle tone will therefore burn more calories during
the day even if he is just simply sitting down. The more muscle
mass an individual has, the higher his basal metabolic rate
will be. Resistance training routines therefore ensure that the
body will continue to keep burning fat long after the last push
up has been completed.
